Toyota is going to show an exciting new roadster concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show, and what is more, it shows what we can expect of the next MR2...
The concept is known as the CS&S, which stands for Compact Sports and Speciality. It has curvaceous styling and distinctive bug-eyed headlights.
This mid-engined concept also features groundbreaking technology.
It has a 1.5-litre petrol engine driving the rear wheels, while the front wheels get power from an electric unit. This system is similar to that of the Toyota Estima Hybrid MPV.
Although the car may appear like a traditional roadster it is actually a 2+2. The front seats shift forward and the rear bodywork pushes back revealing an extra pair of bucket seats.
This high-tech roadster also has an interesting multi-function control panel which is known as Space Touch. It produces holographic projections which the driver can touch to change the settings.
