So confident were Blitz on their products that they set a challenge of
making the fastest lap of the Nurburgring in a ROAD CAR based on their
racing experience. Not only did they make the fastest lap, but they beat
the previous record by a clear 10 seconds, from a road car modified with parts straight from their catalogue.
This year they aim to take a road going Nissan GTR R34 above 215 mph (345 km/h) on a
German Autobahn, again modified with parts taken directly from their
atalogue. 850 BHP makes an exciting ride...
The BLITZ Supra still holds the official Lap Record for a road going
car at the awesome Nurburgring With 600-750 BHP depending on boost
settings, the Supra is an incredible machine, and shows just how far Blitz
can modify a ROAD GOING CAR.
